Dear Readers,

Much of the previous, December issue was dedicated to traveling with children, our dearest and most sincere companions. From time to time, the "little people" surprise us with their attitudes, reactions, and ease of understanding and acceptance of the true human beauty and nobility in any form. They easily, almost instinctively recognize and embrace it. For this, , unlike the adults, they do not need decades of life.

In the city of Belgrade there lives an usually unusual girl. Her name is Mina. Last week he celebrated her eleventh birthday, in a way which was, without parental suggestions, different. Mina has decided  not to receive birthday gift this years. She asked her guests instead of buying gifts, to help eight-year Tijana Ognjanović from Belgrade, the girl who needs an urgent heart transplant in Houston. Birthday invitation, with the information necessary for payment to the charity account, said: "A gift ... I do not need, but little Tijana needs a new heart ..."

The greatness of the gesture and emotions that a child we are privileged to know, she woke in us, are a sufficient reason to share this story with you and pass you at least a part of her optimism and love.

Traveling the world we perpetually search for the beauty, excitement and sensation, but the dearest souvenirs are human warmth and smiles. This spring, wherever you are, look around and find them.

Until the next issue,

SASA MARJANOVIĆ
